TEHRAN (IRNA) – The expert meeting of the Organization of the Islamic Conference (OIC) member states’ intelligence ministers held two sessions in Rabat, capital of Morocco, on Sunday with Iran’s participation.

The meeting aimed at preparing the agenda for the 8th ministerial meeting which is to be held afterwards.
The expert meeting focused on major issues facing the Islamic world including the savage carnage by the Zionist regime in the Gaza Strip as well as the resumption of the activity of the International Islamic News Agency (IINA).
Iran is represented in the meeting by a delegation including Managing Director of the Islamic Republic News Agency (IRNA) Jafar Behdad and a number of experts from the Ministry of Culture and Islamic Guidance and Foreign Ministry as well as the Islamic Culture and Communications Organization.
Addressing the meeting’s morning session on Sunday, the Iranian delegation stressed the illegitimacy of the Zionist regime’s entity, urging the OIC member states to avoid using the word “Israel” to refer to the usurper regime of the holy Qods in the text of the expert meeting’s final statement.
Participants of the meeting also discussed the necessity to add anti-Israeli stands on their final statement urging members of the Islamic world to voice their support for the innocent people of Palestine.
