Iran has documents proving Pakistan supports Jundullah: Intelligence Minister
Tehran Times Political Desk

TEHRAN – Iranian Intelligence Minister Heydar Moslehi stated that Iran has firm evidence which shows that Pakistan and a number of other countries support the terrorist group Jundullah, ISNA reported on Saturday.

Iran’s documents about the recent terror attacks in the southeastern province of Sistan-Balouchestan are definitive and it will make efforts to uproot terrorism in this area, he said.

The intelligence minister added that Iran has presented Pakistani officials documents which indicate that Pakistan’s intelligence agencies are supporting Jundullah.

Pakistan should cooperate with Iran before the documents are published, he pointed out.

He also urged Pakistan not to follow the United States’ footsteps.

On Sunday October 18, a terrorist attack killed over 40 people, including five senior commanders of the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps, in the southeastern province of Sistan-Baluchestan.

Jundullah claimed responsibility for the attack, which was carried out in the city of Pishin, near the border with Pakistan.

The IRGC commanders were on their way to a meeting with local elders of the Shia and Sunni communities when the terrorists carried out the attack.

IRGC Ground Forces Deputy Commander Nour-Ali Shoushtari and Sistan-Balouchestan Province IRGC Commander Rajab-Ali Mohammadzadeh were among those who lost their lives in the attack.

Moslehi pointed out that the terrorists have not been arrested yet
