Iran denounces terror attacks in France, Kuwait, Tunisia

TEHRAN - Iran has denounced brutal terrorist attacks in Kuwait, Tunisia, and France.

Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif in a phone call to his Kuwaiti counterpart Sabah Al Khalid Al Sabah expressed condolences for the suicide attack on a Shia mosque in Kuwait, Khordad News website reported on Saturday.

Also, the Foreign Ministry in a Friday evening announcement strongly condemned the attack in Kuwait.

“Takfiri terrorism is the most significant threat to regional nations,” ministry spokeswoman arzieh Afkham asserted.

The Iranian official also condemned terrorist attack in France, insisting that such acts of terror are compatible with the teachings of Islam.

Regarding the attack in Tunisia, she said such acts are aimed at tarnishing the image of Islam and destabilizing Islamic countries.

She also called for collective and urgent measures to eradicate terrorism and counter extremist groups.
