Iran's Cultural Attache in Paris Organizes Session on Kaaba

PARIS A gathering on the role of Holy Kaaba on Islamic unity was organized here on Wednesday by Iran's cultural attache in Paris. The session was attended by a number of cultural and Muslim personalities including a group of Muslims residing in France as well as members of some Iranian institutions. Prayers leader of French Al-Dawa Mosque Sheikh al-Arabi Kashat and the official in charge of cultural affairs at Paris mosque Hossein Re'is delivered lectures at the session which was held on the anniversary of a change in Muslims' Qibla from Al-Aqsa Mosque to Kaaba. Kashat, whose speech focused on Islamic unity, called for formation of an international Islamic union.

He added that unity among Muslims is vital to defend Muslims and their rights. Re'is also called for unity amongst Muslim ranks to help bring them success. (IRNA)
