Kuwaitis, Omanis Desire to Utilize Iranian Experience

TEHRAN Deputy Chairman of Majlis Health Commission Omidvar Rezaei said here Saturday that both Kuwait and Oman have called for promotion of cooperation in the area of medical insurance and health welfare services. On his return from an official visit from Kuwait and Oman, he told IRNA that at the meeting with the Kuwaiti chairman of the Health Commission of Majlis Al-Umma, Abbas Khazari, the chairman asked for the bolstering of cooperation between two parliaments at the level of the international organizations.

Rezaei said that he exchanged views with Souleiman al-Ali, Kuwaiti deputy health minister on Iran's willingness to provide medical, health and hospital equipment services. Al-Ali called for Iran's cooperation in making available its experience in the area of setting up medical school, particularly pharmaceutical school. The Kuwaiti deputy health minister also expressed desire to see that Kuwaiti medical graduates continue their studies at the universities in Iran. Rezaei said that necessary coordination would be made to see that the plan for students to continue their study is accomodated.

In his meeting with the Omani officials in Muscat, Rezaei said Health Ministry officials of Sultanate of Oman asked the Islamic Republic of Iran to make their experiences available in the area of health, medicine and training. (IRNA)
