TEHRAN President's Advisor for Women's Affairs Ms. Zahra Shojaei Saturday lauded establishment of the cultural council of women of the healthy city at Me'raj township in southern Tehran as the first grouping of housewives in the country. She said that coordination of activities of women under the umbrella of the healthy city project, especially health care practitioners and volunteers for social services, will institutionalize women's participation in social affairs.

Shojaei further remarked that the best achievement of the grouping is involvement of housewives in implementation of the healthy city projects. This measure can set a good example for other cities and even provinces, she said. She expressed the hope that relevant organizations and bodies further support active engagement of housewives in cultural and social services. (IRNA)
