Slovakia to Buy 4m Barrels of Oil from Iran

VIENNA - Tehran and Bratislava signed a letter of understanding Friday according to which Slovakia will purchase four million barrels of oil per year from Iran. The agreement, signed at the end of the second Iran-Slovakia Joint Economic Commission in Bratislava, called for cooperation in various fields of banking, trade, transportation, telecommunications, car manufacturing industries, textile machinery and producing transformers. Accordingly, Iran and Slovakia will provide each other with facilities for holding exhibitions.

Minister of Industries, Gholamreza Shafei led the Iranian delegation to the session. (IRNA)
