Kish Island's Airport to Be Upgraded

KISH, Hormuzgan Prov. - With a budget of more than Rls. 8,300 million, work has begun on expansion and upgrading of the Kish Island's Airport, said Director General of the Kish Development Company, Kamran Zulfaghari, here Saturday. He added that the fund is earmarked for the airport's expansion, building of new and emergency runways and construction of a terminal with state of the art facilities.

Zulfaqari added that with the completion of this terminal there will be a total of five terminals at the island and evaluation of tourists' goods will take place in Kish. (IRNA)
