Three English Football Supporters Seriously Injured

LISBON - Three English football supporters were seriously injured late on Saturday after fighting broke out in a bar following the broadcasting of the English FA cup final. The three, two men and a woman, were taken to hospital in Faro from the Portuguese resort of Albufeira with stab wounds to the head, shoulder and chest three others were taken to the local Albufeira Hospital with less serious injuries.

The clashes, which were eventually halted by the Portuguese police, had started when the group of English tourists started hurling chairs and tables across the bar following Arsenal's 2-0 win over Newcastle.
