He said officials in charge of sports delegations in the country should consider attention to students as their principal duty. Sports should penetrate the classes, Hashemi Taba said, and added that sport can be useful for body and soul, producing healthy and responsible students for the future of the country. He said sport should not be looked at simply from championship viewpoint, adding that athletes should also respect sports regulations and ethics in competitions and respect their opponents, referees and coaches.
