In an interview with the TEHRAN TIMES Seyed Reza Akrami said, Right now all the deputies including those from Hezbollah, Majma' Hezbollah factions and independents are reviewing the names of candidates for the Presiding Board. No consensus about names of members of the next Presiding Board exists in the Majlis at this stage, Akrami, a member of the Majlis Foreign Affairs Commission said.

The chances for Ali Akbar Nateq-Nouri to retain the post of speaker are brighter and it is expected that Majma' Hezbollah will use all possible force for retaining other seats of the Presiding Board,' Akrami said. Majma' Hezbollah supports Nateq-Nouri. On the eve of elections of Presiding Board, the deputies will call on Leader Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei, he disclosed and pointed out that the meeting will pave the way for healthy and coordinated atmosphere in the Legislative Body. Now, he said, ground is fertile for the formation of political parties and concerned authorities will issue permission for that in the shortest possible time.

The applicants for the formation of political parties should fulfil the terms and conditions laid down in the constitution, he said, adding that Nehzat Azadi or the Freedom Movement could not get permission because it does not comply with the The political parties will have a positive impact on political activities in the Majlis, Akrami said. The legislative and executive affairs of the country will run smoothly if one single party is in power, Akrami said.

The political parties have their own working agenda that is known to common people, he said and pointed out that after coming into power the people can easily asses the over-all activities of that party's government on the basis of its agenda.
