TEHRAN Foreign Ministry Spokesman Mahmoud Mohammadi, here Tuesday night, categorically denied the report in British press alleging that China supplies Iran with material needed to produce chemical weapons. The charges are part of the Zionist propaganda to divert public attention from Israeli threats and its dangerous activities, Mohammadi added. ``Iran, besides being a victim of the chemical arms, is one of the originators and signatories of the convention banning production, employment and stockpiling of chemical weapons.'' Therefore, the Islamic Republic of Iran has constantly called on all countries to join the convention and fully adhere to its mandates, Mohammadi said.
