Sri Lankan Minister Arrives to Confer Shojai

TEHRAN Sri Lankan Minister of Women Affairs, Hema Ratnayake, heading a delegation which also includes parliamentarians of that country, arrived here Friday and was officially welcomed by Iran's President's Advisor for Women Affairs, Mrs. Zahra Shojai. During week-long stay here, Ratnayake is expected to hold discussions with Iranian officials especially those responsible for women affairs including Mrs. Shojai and Mrs. Faezeh Hashemi. The Sri Lankan Minister is also to inspect Tehran's Ameneh Nursery, Darabad wild animal museum and several places in Iran's historic city of Isfahan. The visit is within the framework of cooperation between the Islamic Republic and Sri Lanka for cooperation in the area of women affairs.
