U.S. Diplomat Expelled From Moscow

TEHRAN A U.S. diplomat was expelled from Moscow on Thursday, an embassy official told Reuters. The official, who asked not to be named, said Lt. Col. Peter Hoffman, an assistant army attache, left Russia on Thursday after his accreditation was withdrawn for unspecified reasons. Russia's Foreign Ministry was not available for comment.
