TEHRAN -- Iranian documentarian Minu Beigi is making a documentary on the overuse of cosmetics among young Iranian women.
Entitled “Beauty in Coma”, the documentary plans to explore the social and physical impact of heavy cosmetics use in Iran.
“The excessive use of cosmetics has been turned into a threat to the health of women and the insistence on use of these materials may eventually lead to a social problem, Beigi told the Persian service of Mehr News Agency on Friday.
The documentary is produced by the Documentary and Experimental Film Center.
