|Iranian center wins special prize at Tunisian festival||
TEHRAN -- Iran’s Documentary and Experimental Film Center (DEFC) won the special jury prize of the International Amateur Film Festival of Kelibia in Tunisia.
The center won the prize for six of its productions that went on screen during the festival, which was held from August 5 to September 1.
The DEFC productions “Umbilical Cord” by Mohammadreza Sadeqi and Majid Gholamrezaei, “Oyan” by Esmaeil Monsef, “12th Friend” by Fereydun Najafi, “Nap” by Nima Javidi, “Halimeh” by Taher Hassanzadeh and “The Sound of Rain” by Jalal Saedpanah went on screen during the event.
The Tunisian Federation of Amateur Filmmakers -- FTCA organized the festival in collaboration with the Ministry of Culture and Heritage Preservation and the Municipality of the City of Kelibia.
DEFC Director Shafi Aqamohammadian was among the jury members of the festival.
