TEHRAN -- The Iranian pop star and music composer Sirvan Khosravi is currently working on a remix of one of the songs by the Latin pop icon Enrique Iglesias.

Khosravi, who is known as Sirvan in Iran, is working on Enrique’s track “Stay Here Tonight” from his album “Insomniac”, which was released in June 2007.

His brother Xaniar, who is also a pop singer and composer, is accompanying Sirvan in the rearrangement of the track and the Iranian guitarist Nima Ramezan will play for the remixed track, Sirvan announced on his official website.

Sirvan, 30, began learning music when he was 16. He was a disciple of the musician and singer Kaveh Yaghmaei. Then, he formed an underground rock band with his friends and together, they performed music by Police, Beatles, Dire Straits and Pink Floyd.

He released his first album “Sir-1.com” in 2004. His next album “Hour 9” was released in 2009.

Sirvan’s track “Hour 9” was aired from FunX Radio in Holland in July 2009 and he was the first Iranian artist from Iran who gets high-rotation airplay on a regular radio station in Europe.

He has composed and arranged music for several renowned Iranian singers including Reza Sadeghi, Ehsan Khajeh-Amiri, Kaveh Yaghmaei, Behnam Safavi and Mehdi Asadi.

Sirvan Khosravi will have concerts on November 7 and 8 at Tehran’s Milad Tower.
