TEHRAN -- The University of Giessen in the central German city of Marburg is currently hosting an exhibition of a collection of photos displaying the process of rosewater extraction in the southern Iranian province of Kerman.

The collection comprises 15 black and white photos taken by Babak Sediqi in the Lalehzar region, one of Iran’s major centers for rosewater extraction.

This exhibition is part of cultural festival, which runs until November 11.

Sediqi is a freelance photographer and a member of Iranian Photojournalists Association and member of the International Federation of Journalist.

He has worked with many international organizations including UNESCO.

“I have nothing if I can not take photos. If I have a chance to be born again I’m sure that I’ll be a photographer again,” he once said in an interview.
