| Fajr festival to screen two Azeri films |

 TEHRAN -- Two films from the Republic of Azerbaijan will be screened during the 31st Fajr International Film Festival.
“Buta” directed by Ilgar Najaf and “Mother” by Rashad Samadov will compete in the international section of the festival, which will be held in Tehran from January 31 to February 10.
“Buta” was Azerbaijani’s submission to the Best Foreign Language Film category of the 85th annual Academy Awards.
Filmmakers from 71 other countries have submitted 383 works to the Fajr festival, which is Iran’s most important event in the motion picture industry.
