Entitled “Residence in Strasbourg: Abbas Kiarostami”, the program runs until January 24.
All aspects of his works in poetry, painting, photography and filmmaking will be discussed during the workshops, which will be held at the University of Strasbourg, Service and University Cultural Action (SUAC), Safire (Society of Authors Independent Film in Eastern Region), the European Centre for Contemporary Artistic Actions and the association Les Beaux Jours Video.
Photo and video workshops have been arranged for amateur, professional, student and consumer.
He will also accompany a group of students from the University of Strasbourg during a creative tour.
In addition, a retrospective of Kiarostami’s films is scheduled to be held, and Kiarostami will conduct an interview with the French philosopher Jean-Luc Nancy.
