|Iranian ensemble to give concerts in Russia, Tatarstan||
TEHRAN – Hannaneh, an Iranian traditional music ensemble is scheduled to perform concerts in Russia’s Tatarstan and Moscow.
Concert halls in Moscow and several cities in Tatarstan will host Hannaneh from February 6 to 14.
The concerts will be performed in two parts, the leader and vocalist of Hannaneh, Kamran Hemmatpur, said in a press release on Sunday.
The first section is dedicated to pieces that will be played by a group of tambur virtuosos.
Folksongs from the Khorasan, Azarbaijan and Kermanshah regions have been arranged for the second part.
Hassan Kadkhodaiinia, Nasser Kaveh and Farid Qasemi are the other members of the ensemble.
Vocalist Sirus Maleki will also accompany the group.
