Iran’s “Trucker and the Fox” heading to Polish filmfest
TEHRAN -- The Iranian documentary “Trucker and the Fox” will compete in the Krakow Film Festival, which will be held in Poland from May 26 to June 2.
Directed by Arash Lahuti, the doc chronicles the life of Mahmud Kiani Falavarjani, a documentarian who does not have any academic education and is a trucker.
Screenings of the documentary have been scheduled for May 29 and June 1.
“A Cube of Sugar” to go on screen at French festival
TEHRAN -- The Iranian filmmaker Reza Mirkarimi’s family drama “A Cube of Sugar” will go on screen at the 8th edition of Cinéalma, a film festival which will held in Nice, France from October 11 to 20.
In “A Cube of Sugar”, members of a large family come together in a happy friendly atmosphere to make preparations for their youngest sister’s engagement party. However, a series of bad news ruins everything planned.
