TEHRAN -- The Iranian short film “Emergency Exit” will be competing in the 9th International Short Film Festival Detmold in Germany.
Directed by Mehdi Jafari, the film is about a little boy who escapes the first day of school.
More than 3000 short films from 86 countries were submitted to the festival, which will be held from May 31 to June 9.
TEHRAN -- The Iranian movie “Burning Nests” will go on screen at the Zanzibar International Film Festival, which will be held on the Tanzanian island.
Directed by Shahram Maslakhi, the film is the story of a boy whose mother died at Halabja genocide carried out by Saddam Hussein.
ZIFF is East Africa’s largest film, music and arts festival, which will be held from June 29 to July 7.
