TEHRAN -- Artists from eight countries are looking forward to participating in the 10th Bismillah Festival, which will be held in Tehran in July.

A total of 1300 works by artists from Pakistan, Turkey, Bosnia, Afghanistan, Jordan, China and two other countries have been submitted to the festival, the secretary of the festival Mohammadreza Kamareii told the Persian service of IRNA on Friday.

The festival also has received over 5000 submissions from Iranian artists, he added.

The festival highlights posters, calligraphy and logotype works on the theme of Bismillah -- In the Name of Allah.

The festival’s finalists are to be announced on today.

The selected artwork will go on display at the Termeh Gallery, the Niavaran Cultural Center and Milad Tower in Tehran during the holy month of Ramadan, which will begin on July 10 this year.
