| Tehran exhibition promotes domestic travel |

TEHRAN -- The first edition of Iran’s travel expo is currently underway at the Niavaran Cultural Center.
The one-month exhibition, which opened yesterday, has been organized by the Cultural Heritage, Tourism, and Handicrafts Organization (CHTHO).
Travel agencies, hotels, and tourist complexes in different cities of Iran are participating in the event, said CHTHO Deputy Director Manuchehr Jahanian in a press release on Friday.
The 31 Iranian provinces are holding cultural nights to introduce their potentialities as tourist attractions along with their traditions and costumes during the event, he added.
The fair aims to promote group travelling and economy trips as well as introducing new destinations for travelling within Iran, he concluded.
