TEHRAN – Iranian director Maziar Miri’s “The Painting Pool” has been submitted to the 18th edition of the Busan International Film Festival, which will be running from October 3 to 12.
The film is due to go on screen at “A Window on Asian Cinema” section, in which the new or the most-talked-about films of the year by talented Asian filmmakers are shown, the Persian service of MNA reported on Wednesday.
“The Painting Pool” is about physically challenged parents who face a problem with their only son.
The film shared the Crystal Simorgh for Audience Favorite Film at the Fajr festival last year.
