Art show celebrates 140 years of friendship between Switzerland and Iran

TEHRAN -- An exhibition displaying works of a number of Iranian and Swiss artists opened at the Iranian Artists Forum (IAF) in Tehran to celebrate 140 years of friendship between Switzerland and Iran.
 
Works by Swiss designer and illustrator Werner Jeker along with posters by Iranian graphic designers Mostafa Asadollahi, Ebrahim Haqiqi, Qobad Shiva, Farshid Mesqali and Morteza Momayyez have been put on display at the exhibit entitled “140+” in the Momayyez Gallery of the forum.
 
In addition, a selection of photos of Swiss natural attractions by Yannic Bartolozzi, Joel Tettamanti, Mario Del Curto, and Beat Schweizer are on display at the exhibition. 
 
Photos of Iranian attractions by Iranian photographers Farid Sani, Hossein Rahmani, Ebrahim Safi, Bardia Saadat, Hassan Ghaffari and Behzad Torkizadeh have also been showcased at the Zemestan Gallery.
 
The exhibit will be running until July 11 at the forum located on Musavi St., Taleqani Ave.
