TEHRAN -- The Iranian drama “Men at Work” directed by Mani Haqiqi will go on screen at the Rote Fabrik Cultural Center in Zurich, Switzerland on July 18.

“Men at Work” tells the story of four middle-class men from Tehran who are on their way to a skiing trip. As they round a curve, they encounter a boulder sitting on the edge of a cliff.

Together they decide that the boulder must be pushed off that cliff. And, for the next 80 minutes, that's what they try to do in this funny, poignant allegory.

Mahnaz Afshar, Ahmad Hamed, Mahmud Kalari, Reza Kianian, Fatemah Motamed-Aria, Atila Pesyani and Omid Ruhani star in the film.

Rote Fabrik (Red Factory) is a former factory in Zurich-Wollishofen, which is now used as a center for music and film events.

It is so named because the buildings are made of red brick, but sometimes also because left-wing parties campaign at the location.
