| Turkish director Engin Uludag Alpat invited to Tehran resistance festival |

TEHRAN – Turkish actor and stage director Engin Uludag Alpat has been invited to be the guest of honor at the 14th edition of Iran’s Resistance Theater Festival, organizers announced on Wednesday.
He will also be a member of a committee that will select plays for different sections of the festival, which will open in Tabriz, East Azarbaijan in September.
The festival, which centers on the Islamic Revolution and the Sacred Defense (the 1980-88 Iran-Iraq war), will end in Tehran concurrent with the Sacred Defense Week in late September.
