|Venice festival to screen Iran’s “Fish and Cat”||
TEHRAN -- The Iranian movie “Fish and Cat” will be shown at the 70th Venice Film Festival, which will be held from August 28 to September 7.
Directed by Shahram Mokri, the film will go on screen in the Horizons strand - the new trends in filmmaking section of the festival.
The film narrates the story of a group of university students who face different problems during their trip to the north of Iran.
Iranian auteur Abbas Kiarostami will be also one of a number of international filmmakers who will be making short films for “Venezia 70 – Future Reloaded”, which will be a celebration of the 70th anniversary of the Venice International Film Festival.
