Translator creates new Persian renditions of Maugham’s books

TEHRAN – Elaheh Marashi has recently made new Persian translations of American writer Somerset Maugham‘s “The Moon and Sixpence” and “The Painted Veil”.
 
The books are scheduled to be published by Farhang-e Javid.
 
A Persian translation of “The Moon and Sixpence” was released by Piruz Publications in 1960. Mehdi Hamidi translated the book into Persian.
