| Iran’s major libraries to participate in Frankfurt Book Fair 2013 |

TEHRAN – Iran’s Majlis Library, Museum and Documentation Center and Iran National Library and Archives (INLA) are slated to take part in the Frankfurt Book Fair 2013, which will run from October 9 to 13.
The two libraries are due to display their latest products and achievements in a joint pavilion during the five-day fair, INLA reported in a press release on Wednesday.
Digital copies of rare manuscripts, a number of theses and periodicals as well as Iran’s latest achievements in digitizing literary sources are scheduled to go on display at Iran’s pavilion.
In addition, Iranian officials have plans to hold talks with the participating countries in order to expand cultural relations.
Over 100 countries will display their cultural products at the fair, which is considered to be the most important book fair in the world for international deals and trading.
Representatives from book publishing and multimedia companies from all over the world come to the Frankfurt Book Fair in order to negotiate international publishing rights and licensing fees.
