| Niyush to celebrate Hafez Day in Germany |

TEHRAN – Niyush, an Iranian ensemble which is led by singer Sorush Qahremanlu, will be giving a performance in Cologne, Germany on on October 12, which is Iran’s National Hafez Day.
The ensemble has been invited by the Cologne New Philharmonic Orchestra and aims to make Germans more familiar with Iran’s culture and music, Qahremanlu told the Persian service of ISNA on Wednesday.
He added that the Spain-based West-Eastern Divan Orchestra has also collaborated in organizing the concert, which is named “New Sounds of Iran”.
The band features Keikavus Mokhtari on piano, Arash Ardforush on guitar and Sohrab Fat’halizadeh on percussion.
