75 foreign films line up for Isfahan children’s festival

TEHRAN – Seventy-five films from 40 countries are scheduled to be screened in various sections of the 27th edition of the International Film Festival for Children and Young Adults, which will take place in Isfahan in October.
 
The selected films are due to go on screen in the international cinema and international animation sections, organizers announced on Tuesday.
 
Iran’s Documentary and Experimental Film Center (DEFC) Director Shafi Aqamohammadian, Farabi Cinematic Foundation International Department Director Amir Esfandiari, filmmaker Ebrahim Foruzesh, animator Bahram Azimi, and actor Vishka Asayesh are members of the selection board.
 
The films are coming from Argentine, Australia, Italy, India, Poland, Taiwan, Canada, Turkey, France, Russia and elsewhere.
 
A group of Iranian and international cineastes are expected to attend the festival, which will be running from October 7 to 11 in the central Iranian city.
