TEHRAN -- The renowned Iranian poet Seyyed Ali Salehi will hold his first exhibition of paintings at the Mirmiran Gallery of the Iranian Artists Forumin early September.
Entitled “All of a Sudden”, the exhibit will be held in two sections including color and black and white paintings.
“I paint whenever I cannot compose a poem and I compose a poem whenever I cannot paint,” Salehi said during a press conference at the Iranian Artists Forum on Wednesday.
“My painting is the continuation of my poems and that is the reason I make heavy use of curves in my works,” he added.
The exhibit, which features 42 artworks by Salehi, will be held from September 3 to 11.
