|Iranian dog drama joins Warsaw filmfest||
The film will be screened in the International Competition section of the event.
“Paat” is about a dog that wanders alone in Tehran, following people and their stories. A man who has a problem with his wife takes him in. When the wife tries to kill the man, the dog runs away and sets off for the big city.
The film is also scheduled to compete in the Asian Future section of the 26th edition of the Tokyo International Film Festival, which will be held from October 17 to 25.
The WFF will also screen “Bending the Rules” by Iranian director Behnam Behzadi in the World Today, a section that is dedicated to the screening of movies and documentaries on contemporary issues.
