|Iran, Tunisia to boost cooperation in tourism||
Gamra headed a delegation of Tunisian officials attending the 4th meeting of the technical tourism committee of Iran and Tunisia in Tehran.
“Last year 1500 Iranian tourists travelled to Tunisia while Iran also hosted Tunisian tourists in 2012 as well,” Najafi mentioned during the meeting.
They discussed boosting cooperation in international marketing, holding mutual exhibition and expanding tourism industry in two countries during the event.
The committee aims to boost bilateral cooperation in the realm of tourism between the two countries.
Gamra also visited CHTHO Director Deputy for Tourism Affairs Manuchehr Jahanian at the Laleh Hotel on Sunday morning.
Iran and Tunisia signed an agreement on mutual touristic activities in 2001 and held three technical committee meetings in the two countries from 2001 to 2006. Six years later, the fourth meeting is being held in Tehran.
