TEHRAN –
A Persian translation of “The Screenwriter’s Workbook” written by the celebrated cinema critic Syd Field has been published in Iran.

Translated by Hamidreza Garshasbi, the book has recently released by the Farabi Cinema Foundation.

Syd Field, the American screenwriting guru who wrote several books on the subject of screenwriting, died on November 17 at his home in Beverly Hills, California.

The book helps the novice screenwriter to define the idea upon which the script will be built, create the model that professionals use, bring the characters to life, and structure the screenplay for success from the crucial first pages to the final act.
