TEHRAN -- A Persian translation of “Something Happened” by the American novelist Joseph Heller will be published in Iran in the near future.

The book has been translated into Persian by Soheil Sommi, the Persian service of ILNA reported on Sunday.

“Something Happened” is the second novel by Joseph Heller (1923–1999). The book was published in 1974, thirteen years after Heller’s popular book “Catch-22”.

The main character and narrator is Bob Slocum, a businessman who engages in a stream of consciousness narrative about his job, his family, his childhood and his own psyche.
