TEHRAN – The Iranian Kamancheh virtuoso Kayhan Kalhor will be giving concerts in Poland and England within the coming months.

The Turkish baglama player Erdal Erzincan will accompany the three-time Grammy nominee in his concerts in the two Polish cities of Warsaw and Wroclaw on May 17 and 18, Persian media reported on Monday.

They will next travel to Hungary to perform a concert at the Palace of Arts in Budapest on May 21.

The duet’s next stop will be Cafe De La Danse in Paris.  They will perform for two nights at the café on May 22 and 23.

The Iranian santur virtuoso Ali Bahramifard will join Kalhor at Yorkshire’s National Center for Early Music in England to perform on June 5.

They will then leave for Southampton to perform at the Turner Sims Concert Hall on June 6. London’s Kings Place will also host the musicians on June 7.
