|Iran, Turkey sign agreement on tourism cooperation||
TEHRAN – Iran’s Cultural Heritage, Handicrafts, and Tourism Organization (CHTHO) and Turkey’s Culture and Tourism Ministry have signed an agreement to boost cooperation in tourism.
The agreement was signed by CHTHO Director Masud Soltanifar and Turkish Minister of Culture and Tourism Omer Celik in Ankara on Monday, announced the CHTHO on Tuesday.
Soltanifar accompanied Iranian President Hassan Rouhani who arrived in Ankara on Monday.
Ten agreements in various fields were signed during Rouhani’s two-day visit to Turkey.
Based on the agreements, plans for joint film productions, academic and cultural activities, holding programs on cultural heritage, and several other bilateral activities will be implemented in the near future.
