TEHRAN -- Norwegian firemen from a fire station in Oslo are promoting an illustration exhibition, which is scheduled to be held in Tehran to commemorate the Self-sacrificing Iranian firefighter Omid Abbasi.

The Idea School, a Tehran-based educational center for visual arts and the organizer of the exhibition, announced the news Tuesday by publishing a photo depicting the Norwegian firemen holding posters for the exhibition and portraits of Abbasi in front of their fire station.

The Idea School will hold the exhibit entitled “Omid” from June 27 to July 6 in memory of the Iranian firefighter Omid Abbasi, who saved the life of a nine-year-old girl by giving her his oxygen mask during a firefighting operation in northern Tehran in May 2013.

Later on, the national hero was declared brain dead and his organ donation saved four more lives.

The Idea School is organizing the exhibition with the help of the MOge Art, a Tehran-based illustration institute.
