TEHRAN -- Iranian vocalist Alireza Qorbani left Iran for Paris on Sunday to record his new album in France.
He will record the album for Accords Croisés label, he told the Persian service of MNA on Wednesday and added that no title has been selected for the album yet.
Works by Persian classical poets Abu-Saeid Abul-Kheir and Rumi, and works by contemporary poets Mohammadreza Shafiei Kadkani and Fereidun Moshiri will be performed for the album, which has been composed by Saman Samimi.
The album will also contain a song composed by Iranian poet, lyricist and musician Aref Qazvin (1882-1934).
Qorbani will return to Iran on July 23 to organize some of his domestic concerts. 
Qorbani and Moroccan singer Dorsaf Hamdani collaborated in an album entitled “Ivresses” (“Rapture”), which was released by Accords Croisés.
Qorbani’s album “Le Rythme de la Parole” (“The Rhythm of the Word”) also was released by the record company.
