 TEHRAN -- The Iranian ensemble Khonya is scheduled perform at the Buskers Bern Street Music Festival, which will open in Switzerland on August 11.The ensemble is planning to reprise its concert “A Night with Khayyam” at the three-day festival, vocalist Pari Maleki, who is also the leader of the band, told the Persian service of ISNA on Saturday. The concert was performed in Tehran in November of 2010. Ava Ayyubi, Jalal Amirpursaeid, Behrang Baqaii, Mohammadreza Saki, Bamdad Maleki and Mojgan Rahmani will accompany Maleki in the event. The Buskers Bern Street Music Festival, which is Switzerland’s largest open-air event, hosted Khonya in 2009. Over 30 groups will perform over 300 shows in 30 locations prepared for the festival in Berne by the organizers.
