Iran produces doc on Asia to Gaza Solidarity Caravan

TEHRAN -- Iranian filmmakers have produced a documentary on the Asia to Gaza Solidarity Caravan.

Entitled “The Caravan of Hope”, the documentary, directed by Ruhollah Rafiei, is about the caravan that aimed to break the siege of Gaza.

The documentary in five episodes narrated the movement of the caravan, which originated in New Delhi in December 2010.

The two parts of the documentary named “The Land of Freedom” and “Voice of Human Nature” feature the trip from Zahedan to Qom and from Qom to Tabriz respectively.

The episode on the journey through Turkey is called “Star” and the other part narrating the movement of the caravan from the Syrian border to Latakia city is entitled “Hannaneh”.

The last episode of the documentary is dedicated to the entrance of the caravan into Gaza city and is named “Salam”.

The Asia to Gaza Solidarity Caravan, (Asia 1) entered the coastal territory through the Rafah border crossing with Egypt on January 3. 

The aid convoy started its journey in the Indian capital, New Delhi. It had passed through Iran, Turkey, Lebanon, and Syria to reach Egypt and finally the Gaza Strip.
