TEHRAN -- Photos by the Iranian photographers Abasalt Bayat and Rasul Oliazadeh depicting mosques in Islamic countries are currently on display during a showcase at the Iranian Photographers Center (IPC). “If a photographer holds some religious beliefs, he or she should show these beliefs in every part of the world by choosing subjects that are in line with those religious convictions,” Oliazadeh told the Persian service of ISNA. He said that a committed photographer portrays subjects that are harmonious with his or her beliefs in artworks. “These are valuable artworks that depict Islamic architecture manifested in mosques in the form of photos,” he said. The exhibit will run until August 30 at the center located on Somayyeh St., off Hafez Ave..
