| Shahnaz Ensemble set for European tour |

TEHRAN -- Titan of traditional Iranian music Mohammadreza Shajarian accompanied by the nostalgic Shahnaz Ensemble will perform new musical pieces during European concerts. The ensemble, led by the tar virtuoso Majid Derakhshani, will launch their European tour in Istanbul on August 16 and will wrap it up in Cologne, Germany on October 30. Some selections composed by Majid Derakhshani and Mohammadreza Shajarian will be performed during the tour. The tour’s 12-city run continues in Amsterdam on October 1 and Brussels will host a performance on October 2. Germany’s cities Mainz, Berlin, Hamburg and Munich will host the performances on October 3, 11, 12 and 21 respectively. The ensemble will also have performances in London and Edinburgh on October 18 and 19. Concerts will continue on October 22 in Vienna and, on another leg of the ensemble’s European tour, the Swedish cities of Gutenberg and Stockholm will host performances on October 27 and 29..
