“The workshops, which were a unique experience for me, were held at the invitation of the student theater troupe of the Taipei National University of the Arts,” Yasser Khaseb told the Persian service of ISNA on Thursday. “The workshops were organized for 20 students, who were very different from our theater students,” he said. “They enjoy a high level of physical fitness and consequently, the workshops were held at a high level,” he added. “Students in our country seek physical fitness very late, but physical fitness has been institutionalized in the culture of the Chinese and is not related to their interests or professions in art,” Khaseb stated. Khaseb, who held his final workshop at an open-air theater in a public park, has been impressed by the Taiwanese children’s zeal for theatrical performances. “I wish we had such dedication and motivation in our country,” he sighed. “I always believe that Mother Nature teaches us more and better. I hope I can repeat this experience in our country,” he said. “Holding the workshop in the heart of nature face to face with ordinary people and bystanders was a very unique experience for me,” explained Khaseb, who director of the Crazy Body Troupe. Khaseb’s troupe has preformed “Mud”, “Motherland”, “Cloud”, “Seven”, “Strange but Real” “Zahak”, “Aquarium Air” and “Mysterious Gifts”.
