 TEHRAN -- Hossein Mosafer Astaneh has said that he would remain as director of the General Office for Dramatic Arts, an informed source told MNA on Tuesday.Mosafer Astaneh and Deputy Culture Minister for Artistic Affairs Hamid Shahabadi held talks and reached an agreement, based on which Mosafer Astaneh will continue his work at the office, the source said. Mosafer Astaneh resigned from his job on Sunday and later he said that he resigned due a divergence of opinion between him and Shahabadi in the way of administration. Fajr International Theater Festival secretary Mohammad Heidari also quit his job last week, but offered no reason for his resignation. A number of Iranian stage artists have sent letters to Shahabadi, asking him to explain about the resignations at his office.
