TEHRAN - The 7th edition of the European Conference of Iranian Studies (ECIS) focusing on Persian literature is to be held at Jagiellonian University in Cracow, Poland this year.
Organized every four years by the Societas Iranologica Europaea (SIE), the forthcoming conference is considered to be the biggest event in the field of Iranian studies in Europe and will take place from September 7 to 10, the Persian service of MNA reported on Tuesday.
Iranian scholar Ahmad Shakeri is due to deliver his article on tradition and modernism beyond Persian stories.
Persian Literature, Iranian Philology, History, Religious Studies, Cultural Studies, Art and Archaeology are among the key topics to be discussed at the conference.
Shakeri is a graduate of French language and literature, working on the translation of French novels.
